Registering for Text Messaging in DocketWise

Text messaging in DocketWise is powered by our integration with Twilio. To ensure compliance and deliverability, Twilio reviews and approves all firm registrations before you can start sending messages.

Accessing the Registration Form

You can access the text messaging registration form directly within DocketWise via the Register for Text Messaging modal. You will encounter this modal in two scenarios:

  • First-Time Applications: Available for firms on our Pro and Advanced plans. You will need to complete the modal with your real, official business information.

  • Re-applying After a Rejection: If Twilio rejects your firm's initial application, you will see this same modal so you can update your information and resubmit.

Troubleshooting a Rejected Application

If your application is rejected by Twilio, it is usually due to one of two common reasons:

1. Missing Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions URLs

Twilio strictly requires links to your firm's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. If you applied before these fields were required, your application was likely rejected automatically.

  • How to fix: Open the registration form, enter valid website URLs for these two pages, and resubmit.

2. Incomplete or Incorrect Information

If any of your business details do not match official records, Twilio may reject the application. Currently, the specific reason for a rejection isn't displayed directly in DocketWise.
