See how your clients will see and pay invoices through Docketwise after it is shared via email/SMS or via the client portal. This will you require to have an active LawPay account as well as the LawPay Integration active within Docketwise.
Remember:
You will also need to have an invoice already made or an understanding of how to create an invoice within Docketwise.
For sharing an invoice via the client portal, you will first need to make sure that your client is set up with their own client portal. You will also need to know how to send an invoice to the client portal after having drafted one.
Via Email:
After your share an invoice with your client via email, your client will receive the following email (if you would like your firm's logo to appear instead of the default Docketwise, you can learn how to do so by clicking here):
Your client will be able to download a PDF copy of the invoice that you generated by clicking the link. Also, they will have the ability to pay the invoice by clicking the Pay Online button. Upon clicking the Pay Online button, your client will see the following page:
Here, your client has an easy and secure way of paying their invoice through Docketwise's platform. They simply need to fill in their information for the payment to be processed.
Via Client Portal:
After you share an invoice via the client portal, your client's new invoice will appear in their client portal as follows:
Your client will be able to download a PDF copy of the invoice that you generated by clicking the download symbol for the appropriate invoice. Also, they will have the ability to pay the invoice by clicking the Pay button.
Upon clicking the Pay button, your client will see the same image as above to have an easy and secure way of paying their invoice through Docketwise's platform. They simply need to fill in their information for the payment to be processed.
